We were doing some shopping in Manasquan and stumbled upon this gem. We were seated right away. None of us were super starving so we went for an appetizer special of blackened scallops. They were amazing. I would highly recommend this place. Nice atmosphere great service.

This place is a throwback to the queens ny restaurants that I grew up with.the pizza is thin,tasty with a hint of garlic and sweet sauce as well..my wife's ravioli with meatballs was delicious.without a doubt the best pizza I have had if you want thin crust ,perfectly cooked evenly distributed cheese and toppings..I had half sausage.the prices are so fair..service was prompt and friendly and a extremely clean dining room. Thank you for a wonderful meal...

First time here this past weekend. As we heard it gets crowded , we got there by 5:30pm. Saw a few seats available at the bar but we decided to get a table/booth. Nice that the wait staff came over promptly. I opted for ice tea but they had a full bar available with several craft beers on tap. The menu is quite extensive - primarily Italian. We decided to split a burrata salad & the hot pot pizza (medium)- toppings were pepperoni, hot honey & hot peppers. Table was served bread while we waited for the food. The bread was the BOMB! Crusty outside and soft , tasty inside. Even brought home 2 pieces that we didn't finish - a first for us. Burrata salad served with tomatoes & arugula- balsamic & white vinegar along with oo on the table for the salad. Nice touch was that the tomatoes were ever so slightly seared. Pizza was delicious also, if you like thin crusts, and we do. Very generous with the toppings. Cooked just tight so the bottom did not get soggy from the toppings. Lots of pizzas to choose from as well as many main dishes, if pizza was not in your thoughts. I'm looking forward to our next visit but will have a tough time making a choice as I think you can't go wrong at the Squan Tavern!

High quality pizza with a crispy crust and lots of flavor. Thick and savory tomato sauce with lots of garlic and basil. Definitely recommend to anyone in the area.

In honesty, I can't give a current review however so many years they have been so wonderful Food is always terrific. Menu is Great service was always good and pleasant and atmosphere was down home and comfortable. I hope to get back there soon as I haven't been well and just want to give the family a lot of praise. 5 stars

Love the Squan tavern! Been coming here for +20 years. Great pizza, nice service, clean friendly environment. Great neighborhood pizza tavern. Family friendly.

This is a cool little spot that's where the locals dine.. no bust fanfare just great service and food along with relaxing environment where you can stay and talk !! I had the veal parm and it was good, my wife had soft shell crabs my family got risotto - delicious since we eat off each others plates! Had a pizza appetizer along with calamari and friends had veal piccata and broccoli rabe with shrimp.. excellent !! If you can't find something on the menu , which is 5 pages long, you ain't right !!!

Your typical town restaurant. A lot of locals there and very friendly attitude. Very good food. We got the pizza and I got an eggplant sandwich. I liked the ambience inside even though it does get pretty packed. We went early so we wouldn't have to wait but I imagine you would have to wait if you went later. Worth a wait with friendly service good food and good atmosphere

Waitress Kerri was excellent and attentive to our needs, Some beers and pizza everything was served hot and ready to eat... Got seats in the outdoor area and was an beautiful night... We will be back... Party of Six
